This regular Saturday market (9 am – 1 pm) is located on the bank of the Whanganui River where, historically, Maori traded their produce. Today shoppers can buy colourful art, and craft, fresh garden plants and products, mouthwatering home baking and preserves, flavour-filled organic fruit and vegetables, and a range of other goods.
